About Us:
The famous Finca Ixobel Hotel Ecologico is a working farm that is also a guesthouse and campground.

We offer accomodations that meet any travellers needs. Our spacious and well-tended campground provides facilities for camping, motorhomes or hammocks. We also have treehouses. Dormitories, private rooms with shared or private bath, bungalows and a suite can be found in the midst of our lush gardens and grounds.

Facilities & Services:
There are a variety of things to do during your stay at Finca Ixobel. We invite you to relax on the various verandas or in the numerous hammocks placed throughout the grounds. We also have a natural spring where guests can enjoy the sounds of a waterfall while they sit at a table or rest in a hammock. Take a stroll through the pines, climb one of the various hills for spectacular views, play a sport or swim and sunbathe. Besides relaxing at Finca Ixobel, the limestone hills provide some wonderful caving adventures or you can go horseback riding, inner tubing or jungle trekking.

Like the place, but can't afford to stay as long as you want? Become a volunteer!

Stay on as a host or hostess. Room and board are given in exchange for work. It's a great opportunity to meet travelers from around the world, to get to know the people from the local community and get the chance to take part in the excursions that Finca Ixobel has to offer. We require that you speak at least English and Spanish. The minimum stay is 6 weeks. If interested speak to one of the managers on duty, call or e-mail us.

How to find us.
From Guatemala City - approx. 380 Kms., approx. 7-8 hours. All Flores bound buses pass by the Finca Ixobel entrance.

Reservation Policy:
A non-refundable 10% deposit with the Tropical Travel Association is required in order to confirm your reservation. The 90% balance is due to the hotel upon arrival.

We will not accept and do not recommend the highly unsafe practice of passing credit card information to third parties via phone or fax.
