Day 1, Saturday ~ Antigua to Panajachel on Lake Atitlan
Pickup in Antigua or Guatemala City then by van to Panajachel

• pm Pickup in the Spanish colonial capital, Antigua
  • Times: 8:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.
• pm * or pickup in Guatemala City or GUA. - $10 extra
  • Times: 6:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m.
  GUA – La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City.
• Hotel in Panajachel

Chichicastenango

Day 2, Sunday ~ Chichicastenango
Panajachel to Chichicastenango and back

• 8:00 a.m. Transportation from Panajachel to Chichicastenango
• 2:00 p.m. Transportation from Chichicastenango to Panajachel
• Hotel in Panajachel

Day 3, Monday ~ Lake Atitlan
Take a boat tour of Lake Atitlan

• 8:30 a.m. Boat tour of Lake Atitlan
• Visit:
  • San Pedro la Laguna
  • Santiago Atitlan
  • San Antonio Palopo
• 5:30 p.m. Return to Panajachel.

Lake Atitlan

Day 4, Tuesday ~ Highlands
Visit to Solola, Zunil, Almolonga and Quetzaltenango (Xela)

• 8:30 a.m. Tour Solola on the way to, and villages around Guatemala's second city, Quetzaltenango – know locally by its Mayan name Xela (shé·la - e as in "excel").

• 7:00 a.m. Return to Panajachel.

Atitlan Nature Reserve

Day 5, Wednesday ~ Atitlan Nature Reserve
Go to the Nature Reserve and Panajachel.

• a.m. Morning trip to the Atitlan Nature Reserve including nature walks, monkeys, the butterfly house, an hours worth of zip lining and a pound of the Nature Reserve’s own coffee. Lunch at Panajachel market.
• p.m. Afternoon free to relax or visit Panajachel.
• Hotel in Panajachel

Day 6, Thursday ~ Guatemala City
Back to Guatemala City.

• pm Transportation from Panajachel to Guatemala City Airport or Antigua
  • Times: 6:00 a.m., 9:00 p.m., noon or 4:00 p.m.
