Just one hour and a half away from La Antigua Guatemala is found one of the most beautiful sights to be found in nature... Lake Atitlan. It is also where we have successfuly transplanted a little piece of colonial Antigua, set on the shores of the lake.
While there is a definite change in the landscape, the same atmosphere of cordiality and service that you experienced in Antigua is found here too... leaving you time to admire the blue of the lake, the grandeur of the mountains and the green of the forests.

Posada de Don Rodrigo is an intimate lodge with five guest rooms, a studio apartment, a relaxing lounge, a sauna, a thermal lounge pool, an informal bar, and a well-equipped fitness center. Our furnishings are new and comfortable.
Located at the foot of the main shopping street of Panajachel, the hotel gives you the peace and tranquility you'd expect... plus the bustle of the native markets and the multicolored handicrafts shops just a few steps away.
We have a great swimming pool and water park for the kids, our own internet cafe restaurant and even a museum.

Reservation Policy:
This reservation service is free. When you reserve, your 10% deposit is credited against the total value of your reservation. It is required in order to block your space and confirm your reservation with the balance of 90% due upon your arrival with us.
We may require additional payments to hold your particular reservation up to and including a full 100% prepayment depending upon the details of your reservation. If that is the case, you will be advised of these additional reservation payments before you are asked to confirm your reservation with payment of the 10% non-refundable confirmation deposit.
Cancellation Policy:
After reservation, you are free to cancel for any reason and without penalty against your balance due up to three days prior to schedule arrival unless otherwise stated in your reservation confirmation. Any later cancellation or a no-show will cause a billing of one night's lodging per the terms of your confirmed reservation.
